Hi, my name is Aimee, I am a mentored doula covering Kettering and surrounding area in Northamptonshire. Here is what I think you would like to know about me..
I live in Kettering with my husband and we are devoted parents to our 2 children. I love motherhood but the journey to where we are now has been less than smooth. This being one of the reasons I am venturing into the business of working as a Doula. I’d love for you to visit my ‘My Journey’ page to find out more about me and my family.
Why a Doula? Simply put, I am very passionate about helping people and pregnancy, birth and beyond absolutely fascinates me!

A woman who assists another woman during labour and provides support to her, the infant, and the family after childbirth
Before beginning my own journey into motherhood I worked as a Maternity Support Worker where I specialised in Breast Feeding support. I especially loved visits to new parents where one or both of them just needed an ear, someone to listen to them, acknowledge their birthing journey, their feelings and their struggles. I have recently graduated from the Doula UK approved Developing Doulas Course. Moving forward I am taking part in a Twins Workshop and am working through an online course gaining knowledge regarding infant loss and supporting families after loss.
I am looking to work with birthing people and their families from all walks of life. Please visit my ‘Doula Services’ menu to see how I can help and support you.
