A memory I will never forget
Liane’s Testimony
“I have had my sister, Aimee at two of my births. Even before qualifying as a Doula, she was obviously made for this role. She brings a sense of peace and calm with her. She is there breathing through each of the contractions with you and then stands back if you need her too. When my daughter was born at home, Aimee knew the midwifes from her work as a MSW and they allowed her to assist with the birth. She delivered Emilie and placed her onto my chest. Each time she was there until long after the midwifes had left. In the days that followed both births I was on the phone to her at all hours of the day and night. Her breastfeeding knowledge helped so much in getting us started. She had the patience to sit with me and my daughter for hours whilst we tried to get the hang of it.
